Simply Sharing the Love
As I have grown up, I have learned the importance of lifting those around me up. I feel like as women running our own blogs, businesses and homes it is vital that we find ways to lift other amazing women up as we journey through life. So, today, I am simply sharing the love.
One of my dearest friends is KariAnne from Thistlewood Farms blog. She and I have known each other for years as we attended the same church in McKinney. It wasn’t until the past few years however, that she and I have really connected on many more levels.
You see, KariAnne started a blogger mastermind group to help other women grow their blogs and businesses. I joined about 6 months ago and it has been fabulous. As a matter of fact, if you are thinking of starting a blog or are looking to grow your business, she has a waitlist right now to get in on her next group that will be starting soon. KariAnne has also helped me in another super important venture. If you remember, in my post about my one word I talked about the need to get my health back on track. Well, KariAnne has been super successful with losing weight this past 6 months and so she shared her knowledge with me and got me on plan. She has already lost 58 pounds!!! Y’all, 58 pounds, can you believe that? I am so stinking proud of her!! I have lost 17 in 6 weeks and I am not looking back. My goal is to lose 60 pounds by the end of May.
KariAnne is simply the sweetest person out there. She has so much talent and she is not too proud to share it with others. She is the epitome of building others up. I saw a quote the other day and I am trying to remember it….
This was it! “We rise by lifting others”. It is so true. KariAnne could easily be the type of person that gains success and doesn’t share any of her proven ways of getting there but she is not like that at all! She loves helping others and cheers you on the entire way!
Oh, and not to mention her style! Y’all, KariAnne’s home is stunning! This year we were not able to get together at her house but last year, she had an amazing Christmas party with all of us local bloggers and we had the best time!
(Now, this photo is super exciting because we told each other we would retake a new one next Christmas so we can see how amazing our transformations have been!)
