Our First Christmas Porch at Tucker Hill
This year, we are so excited to be working with Wayfair to create our first Christmas porch at Tucker Hill. Although these items were provided by Wayfair, the thoughts and opinions are my own to share with you.
This year, being our first year in our new neighborhood, I wanted to go with simple and elegant decorations. This is my first time to truly have a porch so I am super excited to add my Christmas touches.
When deciding on what items I wanted to get, I wanted a unique wreath for my black front door. I wanted something that would pop. It seems everyone does the traditional red and green and I wanted a change. I found this GORGEOUS fruit wreath and knew I had to have it! Isn’t it stunning?
I am also sharing a similar Christmas wreath that I fell in love with. It is a little bit smaller but just as beautiful.
I wanted a garland to go around the door and now that I have it up, I wish I had bought a few more strands to make it a little fuller, but I still love it! It is such a realistic garland that I can use over and over again.
I found these adorable 3.5′ Artificial Christmas trees with lights to put on each side of the door. They are the perfect height and they have just the right amount of lights on them to brighten up the front porch.
The plan next year is to continue to add to this space to make it a grand entrance. I have to remind myself that Rome wasn’t built in a day. I tend to want to have everything decorated all at once and, if you are like me, our budgets do not allow for that. I did enjoy the fact that Wayfair had so many amazing pieces of holiday decor. I cannot wait to add to what I have for next year.
I am so glad you stopped by today to see our first Christmas porch at Tucker Hill. It was fun to create. Also, if you are local to McKinney, you really need to make an effort to go out to Tucker Hill and see all the magical lights everyone has on their homes! I actually live here and still go on a drive at night through the neighborhood. It is stunning!
Be sure and check out all of my Christmas posts, especially the Christmas gift guides. Is your home decorated for Christmas? I’d love to hear. Have a blessed day!
