OSS Week in Rewind #5

Well, hello you lovely people! Happy weekend! We had a super busy week so let’s get going on the OSS Week in Rewind #5. First of all, let me say how thankful I am for all of you that religiously come to my blog each week. You are the reason why I do what I do. This has been a passion of mine for about 4 year now and you are a huge part of why I am able to still do this thing called blogging. Over the past few years I have learned that this takes a lot of work. And I mean A LOT!!! I was trying to just blog when I could, which was resulting in me posting on my blog about once every 3 months or so. Well, that is not gonna cut it in this blogging world, folks. So, this year (2020) I decided to get serious about growing my brand into something that is so much bigger and more fulfilling to me. If you notice, I have posted 21 posts since the beginning of the year, which is UUGGGEEEEE (as Pres. Trump would say) LOL!! YEAH ME! I am patting myself on the back as I type. Haha I am going to do another post in the very near future about how to organize your time so you can blog and hold down a full-time job. COMING SOON!

Alrighty, many of you know from reading last week, that I had my cardiology appointment Monday. I was hoping to get some answers as to why my heart was racing from 40-50 beats per minute to 150 beats per minute. Well, I was basically told they have no idea. Isn’t that FABULOUS? Argh! So, they told me to just keep taking the beta blockers because they seem to be working. I am going to take a lesser dose and see if I have any episodes. If I do, I am going to have a procedure done to try and induce the SVT (superventricular tachacardia) and then they can ablate the cells that may be causing the rapid heart rate. I know that was a lot and I probably lost most of you, but I wanted to update you and thank you so much for praying for me. It has not gone unnoticed. Hearts to you!!

Monday, I also shared my recipe for the week which was a delicious taco soup. Boy oh boy is it yummy? And by looking at the analytics, a bunch of you tried it. Let me know your thoughts under that post on the blog. I love to hear what you think. Also, if you added or changed anything please tell me.

Tuesday, I was excited about posting the new Hearth and Hand Spring collection. I shared a few of my favorites but there are tons of great new items. That bedding from Target is calling my name.

Tuesday, we also went to our son’s playoff basketball game. I was so sad they lost but, they played so well. They were very much outmatched and they could have easily given up but they didn’t. They played until the very last second.

There wasn’t a ton going on Wednesday in the Graham household. My husband and I had our date night, which is always a blessed time. Although I will say, my husband eats at the speed of sound. We were literally in and out of the restaurant in 35 minutes. I swear he doesn’t even chew, kind of like our dog. LOL!!

Thursday, I searched for some super adorable decor items for your porch or patio. I found some real goodies. The best item I found was the gorgeous fire pit. I need that thing so badly. Check out all the fun finds here.

Friday, I had to take my car to get some sort of coating/wax put on it. They gave me a crappy little clown car to drive. It was quite humorous. I felt like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy “Fat man in a little coat”. LOL We also drove to Abilene to see our daughter perform in Sing Song at her college. Lots of driving involved in a short period but it was so worth it. Seeing her smile is worth any amount of driving. Love that cutie!

Saturday was my blogging day. That is the day I try to lay out my week for material on the blog. I mean this when I say it, please send me ideas of things you want to see on here. This is about YOU, sweeties. Do you want more recipes, more sales, more fashion finds….what? I am open for anything and want to bring you the freshest and most helpful content.

Well folks, that’s it for this week’s OSS Week in Rewind #5. Next week we will be busy with kiddos that are ready to get out for Spring Break. As a teacher, that is always a fun week. Haha

Have a week as amazing as you. And if no one has told you today, you are beautiful and you are strong!
