Want to know my current reading selections? Then don’t miss this post.

Hey friends! How in the heck are you? It is still the thick of basketball season around here so I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off? Which, by the way, did anyone else ever hear that phrase when they were a kid? My grandpa used to always say that to us grandkids. Guessing that means we were wild and crazy and never still! LOL

I digress….

Anywho, I thought it would be fun to share my current reading selections and see what you were currently reading as well. Now, don’t let this post fool you, I am not a big reader. Shocking isn’t it? A blogger that doesn’t read much. LOL I know, I’m a weirdo but trying to find the time to read is like trying to find a needle in a haystack….it ain’t happenin’

I will say, as I have gotten older, I have enjoyed reading such more than when I was younger. And, with COVID, it did me time to read more. Now, that I am back to work, however, the time has become more sparse.

One of my very favorite books I am reading right now is Dream Big by Bob Goff. I found this book at just the right time. I have been really wrestling with where I want my life and career to go and this book has been a huge godsend for me.

Every morning I have been reading Be Still by Cleere Cherry. It is the perfect short read devotional for that dose of daily inspiration. It is currently sold out on Amazon and her website but bookmark it so you can be notified when it comes back in stock. It is totally worth it!

Another book by Cleere that I am reading in the evening, during bath time, is Focus. It says it is a one-word-a-week book but I have been reading it nightly. It really makes you ponder and think, and I love that!

As you all know, I have been on a healthy lifestyle plan for about 9 weeks and one of the best books I have read regarding overall health is the Life Book by Dr. Anderson. It is very in depth and full of information. it has already helped me realize the connection with food and emotion and how to break that cycle.

Before we continue, let me say, I am really bad about reading a lot of books at once. I think I currently have about 8 that I am reading at the same time. YIKES!

Another book I am currently reading is Work in Progress by Leanne and Steve Ford, siblings from the hit HGTV show Restored by the Fords. They sent me this book before it launched and I was so honored they did! It has been a great read! I love the sibling bond they have and how they have turned failures into successes.

Now, my FAVORITE book I am reading right now is the Bible of course! I got this Bible a few years ago from my grandparents and it is super special to me. I love that it is a journaling Bible so every other page is blank for you to take notes on. I love that!It is a VERY nice Bible that will last a lifetime.

So, tell me, have you read any of my current reading selections? I am sure most of you have read at least one. LOL What book would you be interested in starting?

Now, in the comments, tell me some recommendations of books you love. I would love to follow this post up with a list of my readers favorite books, how fun would that be? Now, y’all go have an amazing day cuties!
