How to Make an Easy Fall Wreath
If you have ever wondered if you could make your very own wreath then look no further my friend! I am not the most crafty person but I wanted to tackle this for my front door. So, today I am sharing how to make an easy Fall wreath. It is truly easy.
Like REALLY easy!!!
If I can do it, you can do it! I want to say from start to finish it took me about 15 minutes, NO JOKE!
I will break it down step by step and you will wonder why you haven’t made a million of these already (which is exactly what I thought when I finished).
The first thing you will want to do is decide on your color scheme. I already knew I was wanting the rust and plum colors. I went to Hobby Lobby and picked out my flowers based on that color scheme. I bought 3 deep red hydrangeas, 3 cream hydrangeas and 3 orange-y red hydrangeas. I also bought a grapevine wreath and some burlap-looking ribbon. You will also want to make sure you have a glue gun, glue sticks and scissors.
I am linking some flowers from Micheals if you want to look at those as well. sunset peony|cream hydrangea|orange and red fall bundle|fall leaves|wreath
I started by cutting the flowers from their stems. I actually got lucky because most of the flowers actually slipped right off the stems so I didn’t have to cut much at all! Even better!
Once you have all the flowers ready, you just do a placement of everything without the glue. Then, just move stuff around as you see fit. I spaced out my hydrangeas by 3 since I had 3 colors.
Once you have everything where you want it, you just go around and glue it all down. Now, if that is not easy, I don’t know what is. I can already tell you that I will be making my own wreath for Christmas after learning how easy it was to accomplish.
I finished the wreath off with my ribbon. I simply tied it in a knot and then placed it on the door! VIOLA!
Isn’t she a beaut Clark? PLEASE tell me you know what movie that line is from. If you don’t, I am not sure we can be friends any longer. Ok, ok, ok, I will tell you, it’s from Christmas Vacation, which, by the way, is my favorite movie of ALL.TIME!!!! I love the family dynamic or should I say family dysfunction. My husband doesn’t like to watch it with me because I say every single line before it happens. I can imagine that would be pretty frustrating. OOPSY! If you haven’t ever seen it, it is a MUST watch this Christmas! Promise me!
Ok, so wasn’t that an easy project? If you have a spare 15 minutes, you can learn how to make an easy Fall wreath. Like I said, if I can do it, anyone can do it! LOL
