Beauty for Ashes
It was 1997, and I was in college. Crystal Lewis came out with a song called Beauty for Ashes and it truly resonated with me. Now it is 2020 and, as I was sitting outside doing my quiet time this morning, the Lord brought that song to my attention. I wanted to share the lyrics with you and hope they touch your heart as they did mine all those years ago.

Aren’t those words beautiful? Just to know that the Lord turns our ashes into something beautiful! He takes our ashes and turns them into a crown. The King is enthralled with our beauty! What a refreshing thought. He is crazy about us! So, let’s live that truth. He is so wild about us that He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for us!! What a blessing!
